About Don Antram

Raised in Southern California, Don Antram graduated from Long Beach State University with a Bachelors in Art Degree. He is well trained in drawing, painting, color, composition, perspective, highlights and shadows. He started taking painting classes in the seventh grade and has been honing his craft ever since. He has always been a realistic artist but In April of 2010 Don began studying with Sandra Hersh; an abstract artist; and is exploring working with mixed mediums in abstract art. Sandy's teachings, inspiration and encouragement have been invaluable in helping him paint from within, spiritually and with heart. Her teachings have helped him grow as an artist as well as a person.

Don and his wife of 27 years moved to the Sacramento area in 1985. He is a proud father of two wonderful children and loves spending time with his family. Don has had a business of mural art, faux finishing and canvas art for 18 years. He gets a great deal of satisfaction from his artwork, whether on canvas or walls. Quality work and customer satisfaction has made him a successful artist.
